    Infrared double-resonance spectroscopy of bromoform with picosecond pulses
    From Bayreuth (拜罗伊特, 德国巴伐利亚州一城市名) in Federal Republic of Germany (德意志联邦共和国). The authors are: H. Graener, R. Dohlus and A. Laubereau

    In the second paragraph, the author said that: "This is the first demonstration of vibrational double-resonance spectroscopy of polyatomic molecules in the liquid phase, necessitating intense tunable picosecond pulses in the infrared."

    Vibrational population lifetimes and energy-transfer processes were studied by spontaneous Raman scattering (fig. 1a) of short probing pulses after excitation via stimulated Raman scattering (broken arrows) or infrared absorption (double arrow)
