The Gray-Scott equation from the chemical reaction is

$\begin{align*} \frac{\partial a}{\partial t} &= D_A\frac{\partial^2 a}{\partial x^2} -k_1ab^2+k_f(a_0-a) \cr \frac{\partial b}{\partial t} &= D_B\frac{\partial^2 b}{\partial x^2} +k_1ab^2-k_2b \end{align*}$

We can find exact soliton solution or kinks if

$\frac{k_f}{D_A} = \frac{k_2}{D_B}$

using phase plane analysis.
It turns out that the solition is unstable and the kink is stable, both using theorems from other papers.
